Auto industry takes a swipe at 'politicians' anti-diesel hysteria' by vehicle of year award
The automotive industry has shock out at the Gov. & come to the defence of diesel with pointedly naming a vehicle powered with the fuel as a better vehicle of the year. Awarding a Fresh sport utility vehicle from Volvo the respected What vehicle? title, the judges took the opportunity to shock out at what they call "anti-diesel hysteria from politicians". Naming the Swedish industrialist's XC40 as a better vehicle of 2018, they talked up the fuel, that many in the industry believe is being unfairly "demonised", harming UK's vehicle sector.
